Inclusivity & Ethical Sourcing

At Sarong Hut, inclusivity means more than just who we sell to — it’s about how we do business from beginning to end. We believe that everyone deserves to feel welcome, supported, and valued — from the customers who shop with us, to the artisans who make every sarong by hand.

✨ Our Promise to You

We’re committed to creating a welcoming, inclusive space for everyone — regardless of age, size, ability, or background. That shows up in the way we design our products, build our website, and support our community.

⭐️ Soft, contrast-aware colours and accessible fonts

⭐️ Clear product descriptions and size notes

⭐️ Mobile-optimised design for ease of use

⭐️ Always listening and improving, with your feedback

🌿 How Our Sarongs Are Made

We believe freedom should feel good — not just for you, but for the people who make what you wear.

Sarong Hut works exclusively with small, family-owned businesses in India and Indonesia, with Turkey joining our collection later in 2025. These partners aren’t factories — they’re people we’ve come to know and deeply respect.

⭐️ Our sarongs are often hand-printed or screen printed using traditional methods

⭐️ We pay fair prices and support fair working conditions

⭐️ All of our sarongs are sourced from small family businesses in India, Indonesia, and (soon) Turkey. We do not work with large-scale manufacturers, and have made a conscious choice to avoid fast-fashion supply chains, including mass-production hubs in China.

We do this not just because it’s the right thing to do — but because it creates better products, deeper relationships, and a business we’re proud to run.

💬 Tell Us How We’re Doing

We know inclusivity and ethical sourcing are ongoing commitments. If you ever notice something we can do better — from website usability to how we communicate — we’d love to hear from you.
